The Psalmist says, “My God, my God, why have you forsaken me? Why are you so far from helping me, from the words of my groaning? I cry by day, but you do not answer; and by night, but find no rest.” [God, there are times my life feels just like this!] “Do not be far from me, trouble is near and no one to help. I am poured out like water and my heart is like wax. It is melted within my breast. O my help, come quickly to my aid!”
Holy One, bring Your guidance to me as you have to those throughout the generations! I am here doing the best I can with the life I have. Help me know the thing most needed now so I can move my life forward! Help me trust myself to know what You would have me do. O Merciful One, this feels as if a threshold time! This is my prayer for awareness. O Merciful One, You hear my prayer.
